On the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, we are reminded that Black history is a teacher, a seer, and a guide. We don’t have to look across oceans to understand the political moment we are in. The systems of violence people point to as warnings of where this country is headed were developed here. They have always been here—unleashed on Black communities for centuries, up to this very day. Ignoring that truth does a disservice to both history and the present. This is a call to look inward and reckon honestly with our history. Today and onward, we listen. We learn. AVIS, Automated Vehicle Identification System will track your car from point A to point B. The speed limit is a known variable between these points. If you arrive at point B beforehand, the system automatically calculates you've speeded. It will know the exact speed you traveled between the 2 points and issue you a ticket. This is another control mechanism within the gov't, both federal and state, that will lead to further personal dominance over our freedoms. Flock Cameras have FULL SURVEILLANCE capabilities with facial recognition and very detailed information about every person and mode of transportation. From the gate of your walk, a sound your car makes, conversations you have, etc. Communities are turning Flock Cameras back on around the nation after raising hell to have them abolished in blue states. You have red states, that are purposely being covert in trying to hide locations of these cameras and blue states reverting back to using them when we wanted them gone! Check your community....
