👀see what I did there? THERE ARE NO REASONS! Efficiency is the name of the game here. These are my tips to batch create content: 📸Schedule a regular date - it won’t happen unless it’s scheduled. So make it a regular date. We started with once a month. But we are going to be moving to every two weeks so that we don’t feel rushed in batch day. 📸 Invite others - you’ll have WAY more fun (and get more done) if you have a partner who is helping. So if you have a team member, invite them. If not, do you have a friend who you could invite? Then trade… ½ the day you help them and the other ½ they help you. Easy peasy 👍 📸 Plan your shots - what are you going to film? And what can you prepare ahead of time so that the day of the shoot it’s more “recording” than “brainstorming”? I’ve made the mistake of thinking “I’ll know what I want to do on the day” and then wasted SO much time the day of the shoot. My advice is plan out how many videos, what the videos will be about, what you’ll wear, scripts (if you need them) and even location and props 🤪 The more prepared you are, the smoother the shoot will go and the more you’ll get done. When we’ve been prepared, we’ve cranked out as many as 40-50 raw videos in 2-2.5 hours! And when we haven’t been prepared, we’ve wasted the whole day with very little to show for it 🤦‍♂️ 📸 BONUS TIP: Adidas tops 😂 My dream would be a sponsorship deal with @adidas but in all seriousness, their tops do make it easy for quick outfit changes. My point is, the less time in between videos changing outfits, the more you’ll get done. So wear something that can be changed quickly so you don’t waste time on things other than producing content.
