The “Touch-Me-Not” Plant also known as Mimosa Pudica✋🏼🚫🌿😜 Things that are so interesting about this plant✅ ▶️ Whenever you touch the leaves or even just shake the plant she will close/fold her leaves shut. They will however go back up after a few moments later. ▶️ Though the plant is called “Touch-Me-Not” the plant is not being harmed when you run your fingers over the leaves🥰 ▶️ She goes to bed every night and folds her leaves down to sleep😴😴😴 The foliage reacts to darkness and again reopens in light. ▶️ She is a delicate plant with Fern like leaves that can drop for any good reason (some mentioned in the reel) It is highly important you get her care needs met otherwise she will let you know in a heartbeat 😂 ▶️ She loves bright light and needs several hours of light each day (either growlight or sunlight) to thrive☀️ ▶️ From my experience she’s super sensitive to underwatering, and she will drop most of her leaves to let you know that you forgot to water her😆😇 So be mindful with the watering, especially in summer 😜 ▶️ Her fragile leaves are also very delicate and therefore you should only fertilize with either a deluted fertilizer or give her half strength. ▶️ She can quickly outgrow her pot so be prepared to repot once a year into a well draining soil. ▶️ This is a plant that quite easily can grow quite leggy so just prune it back and you will see it grow more bushy and compact.
