Hi friends, I’m solo in DC this week so let’s go on a little solo morning date and get my favorite breakfast sandwich in the city… I know this might be a lil controversial, but it’s my opinion. DC in the spring is absolutely gorgeous, it’s not too humid, it’s not too cold and yes, that’s me dancing in the rain 🌧️
There aren’t a ton of French cafes (read: there aren’t any), so when I’m traveling i always try to find one. To be so honest, the girlies on the clock app always know where to go. One thing about me is that I can never say no to a kouign-amann, so I started off with this cardamom kouign-amann and it was sooo good! and I’m pretty sure the vanilla latte did something for me spiritually. On to the star of the show, the breakfast sandwich. I mean they even toasted the bun, come on!! If you’re in dc I highly recommend @petitecericedc for their warm welcoming environment and breakfast sandwich. ending with a side quest to literally stop and smell the roses, bye!!
