SAVE THIS for your trip to Australia!! 🇦🇺✈️ If you collect passport stamps like me, you may be disappointed when you arrive in Australia and realize you don’t automatically get one anymore. 🥲 Australia uses SmartGates to electronically process eligible travelers entering and leaving the country, so passports generally aren’t stamped as part of the normal process. BUT that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to leave Australia without one! 👀 Australian Border Force says travelers can ask an officer for a passport stamp if they require evidence of travel. For the second time, I was able to get an Australia exit stamp at Melbourne Airport! 🇦🇺 After going through the departure SmartGate, I went to the nearby Australian Border Force desk and politely asked if they could stamp my passport. A few seconds later, another Australia stamp for the collection! 🥹 I’ve also seen travelers successfully request entry stamps after going through immigration at Melbourne, although I’d always treat stamps as a request rather than a guarantee depending on the circumstances and officer. Recent traveler reports describe getting both entry and departure stamps at Melbourne after using the eGates. So if you’re visiting Australia and love collecting passport stamps, SAVE THIS so you remember to ask! 🇦🇺📕✈️ Are you team passport stamp too?! 😂🌎 #visitaustralia #passportstamps #travelhack #traveltip #melbourne

I stopped waiting until 3pm to check into hotels. Most travelers waste half their first vacation day because of this. 💾 Save this so you don’t lose it. 🙋‍♂️ Share this with your travel family. For years I would land early, show up to the hotel, and hear the same thing: “Check-in is at 3pm.” So I’d sit in the lobby with my luggage… waiting. Turns out that’s exactly what hotels expect guests to do. Hotels clean rooms all morning. By 11am or noon, many rooms are already ready. But hotels don’t advertise early check-in because they need flexibility in case housekeeping falls behind. So they stick to the official policy. But policy doesn’t mean impossible. Here’s the insider move: 1️⃣ Call the hotel the day before arrival 2️⃣ Ask them to note early arrival in your reservation 3️⃣ Show up to the front desk around 11am-12pm 4️⃣ Say: “I called yesterday about early arrival — just checking if my room might be ready.” You’d be surprised how often it works. Most travelers never learn these little plays. So they waste hours waiting… every single trip. Meanwhile frequent travelers know exactly how to work the system. After 25+ years working inside hotels, I’ve learned the small things that make travel smoother. Better rooms. Earlier check-ins. Less stress. Want the exact front desk upgrade scripts I use? Comment “HOTEL” and I’ll send them to you. #script #hotellifestyle #hotelhacks #travellifestyle #traveltip

#alliedeviaje #traveltip #viajar #travel
This travel hack has saved me from SO many middle seats over the years. Never failed me once!! Works best on a computer, and even better closer to check-in when fewer seats are left 😌 tag a fren & save this for later, ENJOY! PS: can we sue the airlines for saying "random allocation" when I know that's straight up not true 🤨 #travel #budgetairline #airline #travelhack #traveltip
