Quando o Daft Punk entrou na própria trilha sonora Em TRON: O Legado, o Daft Punk faz uma rara aparição na tela como DJs mascarados dentro do End of Line Club, apresentando a faixa “Derezzed” durante uma das sequências mais icônicas do filme. Vestindo versões personalizadas de seus capacetes em branco e prata, a dupla foi totalmente integrada à estética neon da Grid, transformando uma breve participação especial em um momento visual marcante. Além da cena em si, o Daft Punk compôs toda a trilha sonora do filme, misturando produção eletrônica com uma orquestra sinfônica completa para criar uma das trilhas mais celebradas do cinema moderno. Lançado em 2010, o projeto marcou a primeira e única trilha sonora de filme feita pela dupla e continua sendo um exemplo de como a música eletrônica pode moldar a identidade de um filme de grande produção.
