The Sitting Duck Tavern in Trumbull is a cozy spot with a warm, welcoming vibe that’s perfect for a lunch outing. I tried their classic pierogies and the Hungarian goulash—a rich, slow-stewed beef dish with a savory kick of Hungarian paprika, served over egg noodles and topped with chive sour cream. Everything tasted amazing, including the coffee, and I couldn’t resist grabbing a big pretzel to go! Quarry Walk’s charming village-style atmosphere, with its scenic walkways and inviting storefronts, makes it easy to spend a relaxing day here. If you’re looking for a spot to unwind and enjoy good food, The Sitting Duck Tavern is a great choice!
