This evening weaves together powerful music, ancestral stories, and intimate monologues to explore Jain’s family history across Pakistan and India. His journey towards music as a tool for healing and change echoes a call for love, unity, and justice in a fractured world. . Pregones/PRTT kicks off its new year with “Llontop”! 🎭 Hear from co-creator Lucrecia Briceño as she shares in an exclusive BronxNet interview how this performance celebrates Andean & Quechua culture. Llontop is a celebration of Andean culture presented by Pregones/PRTT in partnership with the Under The Radar Festival! Anonymous Ensemble’s Llontop celebrates Andean culture and language and features the song-poems of Quechua poet Irma Alvarez-Ccoscco.
