Farmers, moms, hunters, retirees. People who don’t agree on anything are packing the same hearings, because it’s our air, our bills, and our land. In Box Elder County, commissioners refused public comment and approved the Stratos data center in a private room. A group of local women filed for a referendum the next morning. When the project’s water application came up, 3,800 Utahns protested and the company pulled it. This week, Utah County showed up in Provo. We’re not anti-tech. We want a say before the deal is done: ✅ Clean energy ✅ Environmental review first ✅ Big Tech pays its own bills Call your county commissioner today and ask if they’ll require environmental review and public input before any data center gets approved. EVERYONE STAY CALM. IT’S HAPPENING. The 2100 N project in Lehi is underway. This project includes a new stoplight free connection from I-15 to Redwood Road, 14 bridges, two pedestrian bridges, and a shared-use trail. We expect the project to finish by the end of 2028. We know that can feel like forever, but this is one of those projects where a few years of construction turns into decades of better travel. It’s one more way we plan to improve connections in Northwest Utah County. Don’t forget to join our NW Utah County Facebook group to get weekly updates on all the projects in the area!

Why do I love Cache Valley so much??? Honestly… I didn’t think I would. When I moved here from Utah County, I was convinced I was going to miss it. But now there is no where I’d rather be than Cache Valley and here are a few reasons why: I love that I’m so close to the mountains. I can literally look outside and see them, and there’s so many fun hikes to do. I love the four seasons here. Snowy winters, beautiful springs, warm summers, and the most unreal fall colors. I love being able to go on a morning walk or hike and actually feel like I’m getting away from everything. I love the slower pace of life. Less traffic. Less crowds. Shorter commutes. More time to actually enjoy your day. I love the small-town feeling where you run into people you know, people wave, and there’s a real sense of community. I love that we have all the amenities we need, but we’re still surrounded by agriculture, open space, mountains, rivers and trails. I love the local events, the farmers markets, the little towns throughout the valley, and how every season brings something different to do. If you are thinking about moving—whether you live in Cache Valley and just want to find a new home, Or are thinking about relocating to Cache Valley, comment GUIDE and I’ll send you a break down of everything you need to know!
This is my favorite pizza in Utah. No lie. Run, don’t walk to @frankies_slc in Murray 🍕! I’ve been a fan of Chef Chad Pritchard for years. I was so happy when he came up here from Utah County. We took the kids and something happened that has never happened before…they ALL loved the food, and they ALL ate it! 😱 We had a margarita pizza, and a cheese / pepperoni. There’s a big variety to choose from, plus pasta, plus desert like cannoli and tiramisu. 🤤 You can order by the slice or a whole pie. Drop by in person, Door Dash, or Uber Eats. You can grab a pizza kit to take home, and maybe save $ on a family meal deal! Go meet Chad and the warm staff. There are vegan and vegetarian options, too. It will be your new favorite spot! It’s ours. 🤍

I married 468 couples before I turned 21. Most of them I never met in person. Last summer, I was a young college student looking for any job that paid higher than the one I had. Preferably, a job that didn’t involve serving food. So when I stumbled across an online job posting for a part-time position at the Utah County Marriage License & Passport Office, I was intrigued. 🔗: https://bit.ly/4gjFQ1O
UTAH COUNTY DUST: Utah County’s turn this evening as thunderstorm outflow winds kicked up dust from the West Desert. Part of the reason for all the dust with these storms is because of how dry it’s been! Need that monsoon pronto!
