Non sono una persona romantica. Non lo sono mai stata. Eppure… questo film mi ha completamente travolta. Dracula: L’amore perduto non è solo un film su vampiri o sangue. È la storia di un amore impossibile, di una passione che sfida la morte e attraversa i secoli. Vlad, Dracula, perde la sua amata Elisabetta, e il dolore lo trasforma in un essere immortale, condannato a ricordare un amore perduto… e a cercarlo ancora, secoli dopo, in Mina. Ciò che mi ha colpito non è solo la storia, ma il modo in cui è raccontata. Ogni scena è visivamente mozzafiato, ogni dettaglio, dalla fotografia ai costumi, trasmette un senso di malinconia e di struggente bellezza. La musica ti entra dentro, e non riesci a smettere di pensare ai personaggi, alla loro sofferenza e alla loro passione. Caleb Landry Jones è incredibile: fragile, magnetico, tormentato. Zoë Bleu, che interpreta Elisabetta e Mina, incarna la donna amata e la sua reincarnazione con una delicatezza struggente, mentre ogni sguardo, ogni gesto sembra carico di secoli di memoria e desiderio. E nonostante io non sia romantica, questo film mi ha lasciata senza fiato. È uno di quei film che restano addosso, che ti fanno pensare anche ore dopo la fine, che ti fanno sentire qualcosa che non sapevi di poter sentire. Se cercate una storia d’amore intensa, tragica, bellissima… e anche un po’ gotica, questo Dracula è imperdibile.
