Here’s what went wrong lol
Well I bought an adapter for the fan to accommodate for the grooves on the roof before even really checking where we’d put it… I just assumed we would need it….
We did not end up needing it… lol. But for some reason, I still insisted that we use it….. there were many videos of people creating wooden frames for inside the van for the screws to grip onto… and many videos of people just screwing the fan straight in with nothing else… we ended up using the adapter and no wooden frame BUT we also used nuts and bolts, which sounded very secure ….but after some research learned that was another mistake !
Apparently if the flange ever cracks or gets damaged, it will be a lot more trouble to replace… here’s hoping that never happens 🤣🤞 waiting for the shame in the comments lol
Anyway, it has been really fun learning these skills and going through the process of trial and error. Sorry these videos aren’t as informative as I’d like, but maybe you’ll learn from some of our mistakes. 😂

All are incredibly random, but USEFUL (minus one in passenger seat jail):
1. NEW MOUNTAIN BIKE ALERT!!! I am so excited to finally have a bike (after 5.5 years on the road without one). Because my bike doesn’t fit in my garage, I needed a simple pivot rack that allowed me easy access to my garage if I needed anything. I did SO MUCH RESEARCH and ended up w/ @rockymounts After Party (I bought it)
2. New “cat bed” for atlas
3. Cabinet storage organizer
4. Starlink mini in my dash
Failed:
I was so excited about my air fryer but it kept tripping the system. I have a 3000w inverter and 500amp of battery but for some reason this just isnt working. LMK if you have one that works or any ideas why mine isn’t. I miss my airfryer!!!!

Der Van war für uns Abenteuergefährte, rollendes Zuhause und gemütlicher Wohlfühlort. Er ist Teil unserer Familie, Geschichte und auch unserer Zukunft - denn mit dem Verkauf des Van‘s wollen wir bald mit dem Umbau der alten Ruine auf dem Grundstück starten.
