This bike is king. 👑 #Vanth I've had the chance to work with @ridepriority bikes over the last 3 years. The Vanth is out. Shipping direct January 16th. The belt and gear box from @pinion.eu and @gates.bicycle is another wonder. I dont think I'll be back on a chain bike anytime soon. Shifting pre corner is game-changing for corner exits. I prefer the ratio steps better on the 9spd version over the 12spd. The range on the 9 is enough 568% vs the 12spds 600% After a few hundred miles, the gear box wears in; it's noticeably smooth and has less friction. 165mm travel high pivot eats the bumps. It's actually on another level. Lots of support and progression, which just begs to go faster and bigger. Really creates confidence in the rider. I only ever tested the @ridefoxbike 36 and 38 on it. I would imagine the podium would be another up level, which is available on the top spec with @raceface carbon wheels. I did back to back shuttle runs on it, and my old WC DH race bike. 5 runs each. Dropped the fastest and slowest. Averaged the 3 times. 7 seconds. Didn't make sense to me. The DH bike runs felt faster every run. More on the edge of traction. Bit on the limit. While the vanth never felt like I could get up to the speeds to get to the same on limit feel as the DH bike. Reviewing the GPS speed traces. It was just a little faster everywhere. Where it really carried speed was in the rough braking spots. The suspension and the way it reacts in braking is great. It never chatters into deep braking like most bikes do. It was a great project; I am excited for what comes next.
