Rewind almost 7 years ago.
I was working out of my mom’s basement with a dream.
A dream to open the first brick-and-mortar lash studio in Peace River. A space where women could come to unwind, get some lashes and walk away feeling confident.
Fast forward to today… and we’re standing in a space I imagined for so long.
If you’ve been following our journey, you know I’m not afraid of change. And we’ve definitely had a few eras over the years (throwback to the hot pink walls and hot pink doors 😬).
But as I’ve grown, so has The Beauty Bar.
And now it feels like the right time for our space to reflect the experience I truly want you to have when you walk through our doors.
New aesthetic.
New boutique.
Same heart.
Same services.
With deeper intention behind every experience.

Ya girl is making some big, exciting changes!! Thanks to the unending support from my ridiculously amazing clients, friends, and the absolute baddies at Cove Collective ( @covecollectivenwa ), Blackwood Beauty has grown enough for me to start my own dream studio in Downtown Fayetteville!!
I’m sooooooo excited to announce that I’m officially moving into Likewise ( @likewise.community ) next to the old courthouse!

Painting is done, decorations are in tow, all the luxury linens and skincare goodies are on order, and a new menu & booking software are in the works! 🤩 Although I don’t have a hard start date yet, I’m hoping to have health inspections done and be taking clients by middle-to-end of March!
Big ole shout out to my forever friend & absolute visionary, Kassy Gross ( @42pommes ), for painting me a custom mural 🥹😭 It’s so beautiful and I can’t believe it’s real!!!
