I managed to film this beautiful abstract footage in 2021 right after a large lava fountain had erupted & the leftover liquid lava inside the crater settled down. It shows off how incredibly beautiful the inside of the main crater of the Geldingadalir eruption really was. That eruption is still my favourite one to date, thanks to the endless photographic possibilities it offered. Some think this footage looks like the sun but to me, it resembles a beating heart with veins leading outwards, breathing life into the new landscape. What you actually see is see the lava slowly coming up from the depths of the earth within. #iceland 📷 I recorded this with my DJI Mavic 2 Pro & I flew almost inside the crater to get it. This was only possible during very windy days as the strong winds pushed the rising heat away, which allowed me to fly very low without sustaining damage. What you see is not a zoom effect in post-processing, I actually flew that low. It was a nerve-racking flight but I was so happy when I got my drone back unscathed with this footage on it. #vulcano #teamlavaforever #mystopover #natureconnected #connectiontonature #lostinlove #wonderlustcollective #mavic2pro #roamtheplanet #shotoniphone #earthtones #lifeofadventure #stayandwander #visualsoflife #keepitwild #exploringtheglobe #reel #yourshotphotographer #moodygrams #earthoutdoors #drone #inspiredbynature #inspiredbyiceland #islandia #mavic #hellofrom #exploringtheglobe #dji #reelofinstagram

During the entire sequence of volcanic events at Svartsengi in Iceland, we have never had to wait as long as we are now for the next event to begin. Since the April eruption this year, the most predictable volcano in the world seems to have become unpredictable again (sort of). The long wait this time is likely due to the slowdown in magma flowing into the system. When will the 10th eruption begin? It could start right now, in two months or maybe never. All we can do is wait & be surprised. 📷 During the 5th Svartsengi eruption, I captured this unique, almost hypnotic lava flow. It turns out this was an even more fleeting moment than usual because since then, the area where I recorded this has been buried multiple times over by new lava. It’s wild to think how much & how fast this area has been terraformed in these past 2 years. If you would have asked me, or asked anyone really, what they would have expected to happen there I don’t think anyone would’ve guessed we would already be counting down to a 10th eruption in 2 years time. #iceland #volcano #fagradalsfjall #reykjanes #drone #aerial #teamlavaforever #mystopover #natureconnected #connectiontonature #lostinlove #earthtones #lifeofadventure #stayandwander #visualsoflife #keepitwild #exploringtheglobe #reel #yourshotphotographer #moodygrams #earthoutdoors #inspiredbynature #inspiredbyiceland #islandia #mavic #hellofrom #exploringtheglobe #dji #reelofinstagram #mavic3pro

This is an extreme close-up of liquid lava bursting out of an already solidified lava crust. At the bottom you can see the lava roll over a previous crust which had formed. This reel shows really well the different colours and viscosity lava can have. I really enjoy the colour gradients in this footage. The textures and movement often remind me of molten cheese or fresh bread which is slowly being pulled apart. This is recorded in real-time so you see the actual speed of it - no post-processing trickery here. Fun fact: you might think the footage isn’t always sharp but it’s actually the heat shimmer which distorts the air around the lava. #iceland 📷 I recorded this my Canon EOS R6 and Canon 100-500mm RF. It’s my all-time favourite lens. #vulcano #teamlavaforever #mystopover #natureconnected #connectiontonature #lostinlove #wonderlustcollective #mavic2pro #roamtheplanet #shotoniphone #earthtones #lifeofadventure #stayandwander #visualsoflife #keepitwild #exploringtheglobe #reel #yourshotphotographer #moodygrams #earthoutdoors #drone #inspiredbynature #inspiredbyiceland #islandia #mavic #hellofrom #exploringtheglobe #dji #reelofinstagram

Almost fumbled this shot trying to find a good angle at Hà Nội Train Street. - 📷 1: Nikon Z 8 + NIKKOR 17-28mm f/ 2.8 📷2: Nikon Z 8 + NIKKOR 50mm f/ 1.2 S @nikonusa #NikonCreators BTS: @jamzpz - Several times a day, trains pass through the street, just inches away from the houses on either side. It is a fascinating sight to witness as the residents living along the tracks quickly move their belongings off the tracks and pull in their awnings as the train approaches. • • • • • • • #GOTones #gameofvisuals #tonesbox #moodygrams #visualambassadors #tonekillers #agameoftones #theimaged #depthobsessed #gramslayers #tonesgram #visualsoflife #createcommune #artofvisuals #visualsofearth #eclectic_shotz #way2ill_ #enter_imagination #explore_creators #ig_color #shotzdelight #illgrammers #ig_shotz #weekly_feature #trainstreet #trainstreethanoi #trainstreethanoi🇻🇳 #trainstreetvietnam #hanoi
