Did you know that the 2026 @pdga Women’s Global Event spans TWO weekends this year!? Dedicated WGE events get the spotlight- but I want to encourage all TDs that are already running an event May 15-25 to add the “+WGE” designation to their event- so any women who play can be included in the global rankings. It’s easy! 1. Offer all PDGA women’s divisions and your event. 2. Add “+ WGE” to your tournament name Comment questions below! . . . . . #pdga #pdgawomen #wge2026 #womensglobalevent #womensdiscgolf

This past weekend was a great one for women’s disc golf in Western New York! On Saturday, the UB Disc Golf Team hosted their doubles tournament at Outwater, and it was a huge success. An impressive 17% of the field was made up of women, which is awesome to see! UB Team President Trevor Goodyear also announced some exciting news — for the first time ever, Buffalo will have a women’s team representing the city at College Nationals! On Sunday, over 20 amazing ladies took over Spartan Discs for a BNDG International Women’s Day Party, hosted by Nicki Kramer and Chris Thomas. Nicki is incredibly passionate about supporting women’s disc golf and bringing women together to build friendships and create lasting memories — and the entire event reflected that spirit. Tons of prizes were won. We bonded over delicious food (including Chris Thomas’s gourmet waffle bar 🍓🧇), shared tons of laughs during random draw doubles, and let our creativity shine while making custom minis. But most importantly, new friendships were formed. If this weekend is any indication of how the season will go, the ladies of WNY disc golf are going to be breaking barriers and having a whole lot of FUN! A huge thank you to all the women who participated this weekend. We’d also like to give a special shoutout to the guys from BNDG and Team Spartan — you consistently show up and support us in every way possible, and we truly appreciate it. And to Nicki, Chris, and the entire party planning committee — thank you for everything you did to make Sunday so special. This is definitely an event we’ll all look forward to every year! See everyone in two weeks for Trippin’! — Nichole Tomasello-Keil BNDG Director of Women & Youth Outreach
