1. The trees of today were seeds planted by visionaries yesterday. The founders probably didn’t realize the kind of impact WIMBIZ would be having 24 years later. Please, plant something. Legacy is never accidental. 2. Beyond what happens on stage, the biggest breakthroughs wear suits and skirts. Never underestimate the participants, destiny is often seated right beside you. The real conference is in the connections. What you do with them afterward will define the return on your ticket. 3. Not every speaker will resonate with you, and that’s okay. Find your word. Find your moment. Sometimes one line changes everything. 4. The conversation has shifted. Less talk about what men are getting or doing. More focus on what women are building and becoming. 5. Generations are not in competition, they’re in collaboration. The young, the seasoned, and everyone in between; learning, teaching, and rising together. 6. We are not defined by what we wear, but by what wears us. Let it be drive, grace, and tenacity. That’s true power dressing. 7. Power doesn’t always need a microphone, sometimes, it’s just presence. Grace is the new grit, and WIMBIZ women have both. Beyond these, we have BORROWED SENSE. My first time attending. My first time speaking. And I’m leaving gracefully humbled and deeply inspired.
