The Buddhist Monks’ Walk for Peace came through our city Sunday night and we completely missed them 😅
Yesterday at work, my coworker and I couldn’t stop talking about it. We were both so disappointed we didn’t know in time.
Then we found out where they were stopping next.
“Should we go?”
“We’re going.” 🙏
Drove an hour to Morrow, GA last night after our shift and witnessed something truly special. They’re walking across the country promoting peace, compassion, and loving kindness.
Sometimes the best experiences come from those spontaneous “we have to do this” moments. The energy, the quiet determination, the commitment to something bigger - it was exactly what I needed heading into a new year 💙
Worth every mile. Worth the late night. Worth it.
