Step by step, through the changing lands, Across the fields and the desert sands. Beside the saffron robes so bright, Aloka walks in the gentle light. No distance too long, no road too steep, A loyal promise, a love so deep. Beside the venerable monks each day, Mindful and peaceful, leading the way. May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏 #WalkForPeace #BuddhistMonks
If you cannot help someone, at least do not hurt them. Sometimes the greatest act of kindness is simply choosing not to add to another person’s pain. A compassionate heart does not seek to wound, but to protect, understand, and bring peace. Let us live with wisdom, speak with kindness, and treat every being with respect, for even the smallest act of non-harm makes the world a better place.#walkforpeace #alokathepeacedog #buddhistmonks #buddhism #watch
“Om Mani Padme Hum” is one of the most revered mantras in Tibetan Buddhism. It is associated with Avalokiteśvara (known as Chenrezig in Tibet), the embodiment of compassion. In a broader sense the mantra expresses: “May compassion and wisdom arise within me, transforming my body, speech, and mind.”🕊❤️🧘‍♂️😇🙏 #fyp #buddhistmonks #walkforpeace #usa #reels
The best part of this journey? The people I meet on the road 🌍 See you on the trail ✌️ Day 96 | Apr 6, 2026 #HikeWithMe #LongestPeaceMarch #AlayaWalkForPeace #WalkForPeace #CapeTownToMagadan
I ask God for nothing extraordinary only the grace to remain a good human being. Keep my heart untouched by the darkness of this world. Let me walk through life with a pure soul, a little love in my heart, and peace within. As long as Your hand is upon my head and Your presence is within me, I need nothing more. May I become the person You want me to be. 🤍🕊️#fanclub #bhairaviardhyadeka #bhairavi
Aloka really enjoys some massage! 🐾 There is nothing quite like a little comfort after a long journey! It turns out our sweet companion completely melts whenever he gets a relaxing, gentle massage. With his eyes completely closed in pure bliss, he is entirely at ease, thoroughly soaking up the care, warmth, and love. May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏 📷 Video credit: Missy Snyder #WalkForPeace #BuddhistMonks #AlokathePeaceDog

This is what years of committed practice have taught me:
to move with intention, act with devotion, and release the need to control the outcome. Faith is not passivity. It is continuing to walk while trusting what you cannot see yet. Choose your direction. Keep returning. Trust the unfolding.🩵
📌 Update: Goodbye, India and Nepal! Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra and Aloka Are Coming Home — June 17, 2026 Today, June 17, 2026, at around 10:30 AM local time, Venerable Bhikkhu Paññākāra and Aloka departed from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, India, heading home to Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Venerable Phiyathammoo and Venerable Phra Supalak were also at the airport today, departing on their own flight back to Thailand. Although the venerable monks of the Walk for Peace are not walking the same physical path at this moment, we are always walking together in spirit—on the same path of peace, mindfulness, loving-kindness, and compassion. And we look forward with joy to the day when we will walk together again on the same physical path. India and Nepal have given us so much on this journey—sacred sites, meaningful meetings, warm communities, and memories that will remain with us for a lifetime. We are deeply and profoundly grateful to the officials, organizations, the Sangha, and the wonderful people of India and Nepal for their generous support, warm hospitality, and open hearts throughout every step of our time there. We carry India and Nepal in our hearts—with love, with gratitude, and with deep reverence for everything these sacred lands have offered us. Safe travels to all our venerable monks and Aloka. May you and all beings be well, happy and at peace. 🙏✨ #WalkForPeace #AlokathePeaceDog #BuddhistMonks
