In honor of #WorldMentalHealthDay, Fountain House is very proud to announce the official launch of the Partners In Care on-demand training! This FREE training has been specially designed to provide mental health professionals and others in the healthcare space with a deeper knowledge of the stigma and health disparities associated with serious mental illness (SMI). It examines the vital role and benefits of community-based supports like the clubhouse model as a part of integrated care for people living with SMI. It is also available for Continuing Medical Education/Continuing Education (CME/CE) credits! Partners in Care is a collaboration between Fountain House, The Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI), Magnolia Clubhouse, Wayne State University, the World Psychiatric Association, Clubhouse International, and the International Partners in Care Advisory Board. THE TEEN MOM WHO ONCE WALKED WAYNE STATE’S CAMPUS WITH BIG DREAMS JUST CAME BACK TO LEAD THE ROOM! 🎓🔥 In 2020, I graduated from Wayne State University with my MBA as a first generation college graduate. Now, I’ve returned as a special guest for their Shark Tank event to pour into the next generation of entrepreneurs! My husband shared the stage with me as we challenged the students to think outside the box, critiqued their business models, and helped them create business solutions for real problems on campus. I selected THREE winning teams and awarded CASH PRIZES to the tables with the strongest ideas! 💰🏆 I once walked that campus as a teen mom, a first generation student, and a young woman carrying big dreams with no blueprint. Now I’m walking back in as Dr. Ronisha Dean, an entrepreneur, a wife, a mother, and living proof that your circumstances do NOT determine your destination! 🚀 Being trusted to lead this workshop meant everything to me. I didn’t just return to Wayne State to speak. I returned to inspire, give hope, and show these students that their ideas can become real businesses that create real impact! THIS IS WHAT FULL CIRCLE LOOKS LIKE! GO WARRIORS! 💚💛
