As our regular season comes to an end, we are thrilled to have several athletes moving on to the TCC Championships on 11/10!
We’ve been working all season toward this moment. Sometimes it feels like we’re racing against others,but in truth, we’re racing ourselves. Our greatest challenge is our mindset: the ability to believe that no matter what anyone else thinks or where we place, we will run with the heart of a lion.
I will run because I can.
I will run because this is what I’ve worked for all season.
When you compete and give everything you have leaving it all out there on the field, track, court, or mat you walk away knowing you have no regrets. That feeling of exhilaration comes from knowing there was nothing more you could have done.
When that feeling isn’t there, it’s often because deep down, you know you could have given more. Fear whether it’s fear of failure or even fear of success holds many athletes back from reaching the next level.
Being great is not easy. It’s lonely. It’s hard. It takes discipline. You can talk about it all you want, but actions will always speak louder than words.
So, Monarchs let’s leave it all out there!
In whatever you do, give it everything you’ve got.
