Experiment Time: What happens when you finish wenge with a pigmented wood oil? 🤔
Wenge is typically left dark and dramatic, but we couldn’t resist testing out Oil Plus 2C “White 5%” on this sample board!
The wood was also wire-brushed to remove the soft grain, which allowed for more pigment to settle in the grain.
Let us know your thoughts in the comments—do you prefer a traditional, unpigmented finish for wenge, or are you digging this funky, high-contrast look?
