Some towns have coffee shops. Greiser’s Coffee & Market is an entire experience. Groceries on the shelves, handmade jewelry from local makers, art on the walls, books by town authors (including Helen Keller), and neighbors catching up over coffee like they’ve done for generations. It’s charming, unexpected, and full of history. Honestly… places like this are why people fall in love with living in Easton, Connecticut. Visit @thevintagecupcoffeeco with me - and if you ever find yourself in Pembroke, stop by! Such a cute little Cafe that offers a delicious selection of pastries and a variety of hot and cold beverages. I myself went with my go-to, an iced chai tea latte with a splash of maple syrup, and oat milk. Despite the cold outside, the chai flavorings were perfect paired with a sweet, fluffy donut topped with creamy maple frosting 🤤 Drool worthy, especially during maple month! . Of course, this place has all of the vintage vibes with the aesthetic and decor. Wood paneling and wallpapered walls, velvet cushioned chairs that almost feel a little bit too fancy to sit in like as a child and you feel like you're not supposed to sit on the "nice furniture" 😅, record player, lamps, portraits and art placed strategically about, a box of yarn, stacks and shelves with books to peruse or read. Plenty of comfy seating to chat with a friend, or tables to work at (or eat donuts🍩) when it's not too busy. . Visiting new towns and businesses is always a blast, and this was one I'm adding to my favorites to hopefully return to during future travels!
