Celebrating Women’s Month with meaningful conversations and shared stories. ✨ @aboitizfoundation welcomed SheSTEMS scholars from Her Legacy Foundation, founded by Karen Davila, for a special gathering with Aboitiz women leaders. Through open conversations, they shared insights from their own journeys, offering guidance and inspiration on how women can grow, lead, and thrive in the workplace. At Aboitiz, empowering women means creating spaces where they are not only encouraged to take on leadership roles, but supported to truly thrive. “If there’s one thing we all have in common, it’s this. We made a choice to invest in ourselves.” When AIB Graduate and 2021 Valedictorian Gesica Stapleton addressed our graduates last year, she spoke about completing her MBA during a demanding season of life, balancing leadership responsibilities with raising her family. Since graduating, she has transitioned from frontline leadership into strategy and now works as an Executive Product Owner at a Big 4 bank. Her journey highlights what can follow when you continue to back your growth, even when life is full. For some women, that growth happens alongside work and motherhood. For others, it happens in different ways and at different stages of life. This International Women’s Day, we recognise the women in our AIB community and beyond who continue to invest in their growth and shape the organisations and communities around them.
