When I posted my job tracker and it had over a million views I got a lot of comments as in "you are very picky if you need to apply to over 100 jobs" or "none of these pay over 80.000 a year" Well here's some information for context: I only started working remotely so that I wouldn't have to leave my 6mo baby with someone else or even worse send him to daycare. I really took anything when I first started, I was actually hired on the spot. The company was Teleperformance. All the jobs I applied for in June had a pay of $18/hour or more since I had 1 main goal with it: Either improve my salary or get off the phones. The role I was hired for came with a raise of $4 and 70% time off the phones. #carolinadaybyday #momlife #workingmom #WFHMom #workfromhomemom
IMMIGRANT MOMS in 🇨🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸 this isn't about our husbands. most of ours are genuinely good men who work hard for our families 🤍 this is about something deeper (Read till end👇🏻) you pick up something small at the grocery store. $12. nothing crazy. and you put it back — not because he'd say no, but because some quiet part of you doesn't want to explain a purchase that's just for you. that feeling isn't about him. it's about what happens when you go from having your own income to relying on one paycheck. even in the healthiest marriages, something shifts when you stop earning. you start asking instead of deciding. explaining instead of just buying. that's not weakness. that's just what financial dependence quietly does to us, even when everything else in the marriage is good. and here's the part most husbands don't even know ,they have no idea we're doing this math in our heads. they're not asking us to. we just quietly start doing it anyway. I had a Master's degree. years of ambition. all of it sitting quietly in the corner while I stood in a store aisle calculating a $12 decision. I'm not that woman anymore. not because my marriage changed. because I decided that having something of my own , my own income, my own decisions, my own identity- wasn't too much to ask for. financial independence isn't about not needing your husband. it's about not needing permission.. drop a 🤍 if this is you. You are not alone and you are not behind 🤍 If you're ready to start building something of your own too - drop START. and I will show you exactly how to take that first step #immigrantmom #sahmcanada #workfromhomemom #canadianmom
Working from home gave me more flexibility, but it also made me realize something. I don’t want to spend the next few decades waiting for a retirement date that someone else decided. My goal is to create enough flexibility in my life that I can choose when I’m ready to step away from corporate.. not because I have to, but because I have options. That’s why I’ve been learning new skills, building something outside of my 9–5, and staying consistent over time. If you’re a driven corporate mom who’s been thinking about creating another option alongside your career, comment CLASS and I’ll send you the free overview that helped me get started. #corporatemom #workingmom #workfromhomemom #corporateparent #workingparent
I didn’t need someone to convince me to work. I wanted to work. The hard part was finding something that actually fit my life as an autism mom. Appointments, therapies, school drop-offs, school pick-ups, and nights where I barely got any sleep... my days have never looked “normal,” and a normal job just wasn’t an option for me. I’m not saying this is everyone’s story, but it was mine. That’s why I share what I do. Because I found a way to earn an income from my phone, on my own schedule, when it fits my life instead of someone else’s. No boss. No clocking in somewhere. No asking for time off, or permission to leave. I work when it works for my life. 🫶🏻 If you’re an overwhelmed mom wondering what your options are, comment INFO and l’Il tell you more. 🤍 #autismmom #stayathomemom #specialneedsmom #workfromhomemom #workfromanywhere
We were in the middle of one of the hardest stretches of my life. I was running three blogs, had kids who were 5, 2, and a newborn. Pulling all-nighters. Pushing myself until I had nothing left. I finally broke down and poured out my heart to Jesse fully expecting a pep talk. Instead he said: “Crystal, you’re bringing this on yourself.” “You’re right I — wait what, I’m what?!” I didn’t want to hear it. But deep down I knew he was right. I was the one saying yes to everything. I was the one with no boundaries. I was the one giving my family the leftovers of my time and energy instead of my best. That conversation sent me on a journey to figure out how to actually do this working from home thing well. And what I learned changed how I work from home completely. Twenty plus years later, I still think about those five words. Because they were the most loving thing he could have said to me in that moment. If you feel like you’re doing everything and still failing at everything, comment BLUEPRINT below. The plan I built from that season is exactly what you need. #workfromhomemom #wahmmom #worklifebalance #mompreneur #workingmomlife
🇺🇸 12 years on Amazon. My husband didn’t think Amazon reviews would help with our bills. He hasn’t said that since Prime Day started. The Amazon Reviewer Program is one of the most beginner-friendly things I’ve ever seen — built for US moms who want a real side income without followers, without filming their face all day, without inventory. Just short reviews Amazon pays creators for. Comment HOW and I’ll DM you the same course that walked me through every step. #affiliate — I earn a commission when you buy through my link. 🇺🇸 US only. How I get over 10,000 steps as a work from home mom 💻 👟 This is a day where I was at my desk, seated for most of the day. So without that first walking pad walk in the early morning - I would have barely just made it to 10K. ⁣ ⁣ Tips to hit your step goal:⁣ ⁣ • early morning steps if you have a walking pad, treadmill or can do it outside ⁣ ⁣ • schedule desk breaks - even 10 minutes around the block makes a difference ⁣ ⁣ • track your steps! I was shocked how little I got before using my Apple Watch.⁣ ⁣ Let me know if you have any Qs! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #dailysteps #workingmom #workfromhomemom #wfhmom #realmomsofinstagram
Day #13 of Building Community for moms After becoming a mom, I realised I couldn’t create more hours in my day — but I could change how I use them. These 3 things made the biggest difference: 1. I work in FOCUS BLOCKS ⏱️ Instead of jumping between emails, meetings, content and random tasks, I block dedicated time for one type of work. Even a protected 45–60 minutes can be far more useful than hours of distracted working. Time blocking is essentially assigning specific work to specific calendar slots. 2. I use techniques, not just a to-do list. I pick my Top 3 priorities, batch similar tasks together and keep my high-focus time for work that actually needs my brain. 3. I learned WHICH AI tool to use for WHICH task. 👀 This was the real game changer. Research → one tool. Writing & brainstorming → another. Presentations/design → another. Meeting notes → another. Scheduling & repetitive work → automate it. Because using AI isn’t about collecting 50 tools. It’s knowing the right tool + the right technique + the right moment to use it. And as a working mom, the time I save doesn’t mean I can squeeze in MORE work. It means I can close the laptop sooner. ❤️ That’s exactly what we talk about inside WorkingMom.AI — practical AI workflows, productivity techniques and remote-work readiness for women who already have enough on their plate. Comment “AI” if you want me to get all the details to your DM. #WorkingMomLife #WorkFromHomeMom #RemoteWorkIndia #AIProductivity
