The only thing I’m accepting in autism acceptance month is that God can do ALL THINGS in my sons life and body. He’s Gods child first and my assignment to teach him who his maker is. It may take us twice as long to learn scripture but delay never means denial. I plant the seed and the Holy Spirit waters it to its fullness. I used to be afraid of this diagnosis and now I can’t wait to see what God does next in him. He will prosper with God on his side! Who’s with me!? #autism #autismawareness #autismoftiktok

I love being Jude and Tommy’s dad more than I could ever put into words. But I’ve learned over the years that loving your life doesn’t mean you have to pretend that every part of it is easy. Being an autism parent can be wonderful, funny, chaotic and full of love. It can also be exhausting, worrying and, at times, incredibly lonely. Two things can be true at the same time. So on World Mental Health Day, this one is for all the parents and carers who spend so much of their lives fighting for someone else. For the ones lying awake worrying about the future. The ones wondering if they’re doing enough. The ones holding everything together while quietly struggling themselves. You matter too. You deserve support too. And asking for help doesn’t take anything away from the love you have for your child. We spend so much of our lives fighting for them. Don’t forget to fight for yourself too. ❤️ And if life feels particularly heavy at the moment, I hope our little corner of the internet reminds you that you’re not carrying it alone. #WorldMentalHealthDay #AutismParent #autismdad #AutismFamily #autismmom
Sending a piece of my heart into the world today. 🥹💙 Sammy’s first day of 2nd grade. May God protect him, guide him and surround him with kindness every step of the way. 🙏🏻♾️ Be kind to my boy, world. 💙 #autism #nonspeakingautism #specialneedsmom #nonspeaking #autismmom
Non verbal autism and PDA. Today we tried to practise life skills. The goal was simple. Go to the shop and buy his sister a small Valentine’s gift. He has PDA towards her. That means her presence, her voice, even her name can trigger distress. So this was never going to be a small task. It didn’t go perfectly. He wasn’t that interested. He disengaged. But there was no meltdown. No escalation. And that matters. With autism and PDA, progress is not always success. Sometimes it is just getting through something safely. We’ll try again. #autism #autismawareness #pathologicaldemandavoidance #nonverbalautism #asd

Autism awareness is a daily journey for so many families. For us, advocating for acceptance and inclusion is lifelong. We dream of a world where our children can thrive and autistic adults are seen and valued. Teach your children about autism, not just this month, but every day. It’s the future we’re fighting for. #autism #autismawarenessmonth #autismawarness #autismacceptance #Inclusion #teachinclusion #advocacy #teachkindness #empathy #autismmom #autismdad
As an autistic individual, my excitement often manifests in vibrant expressions. My face lights up and my body language exudes uncontainable joy. It’s not just excitement, it’s a symphony of emotions! #AutismAwareness #Neurodiversity #autism
Today we’re celebrating World Autism Awareness Day but for us autism isn’t just a day. it’s 365 days of growth, learning and love! Looking back at past autism walks and seeing how far the kids have come, I’m also realizing it’s time to create new memories - this time with all three of them. Autism awareness is about understanding, acceptance and making space for every child to grow and shine in their own way. ✨ Our community means everything to us, your support your love, your presence, and most importantly your stories & your families … it all matters! 💜 What does autism awareness mean to you? #autismawareness #worldautismday #specialneedsmom #growthjourney #representationmatters
