Creating a writing process you love > stressing yourself out by word count Establishing a writing process you love is so much more than romanticizing a writing session (because let’s be honest, you can’t always do that) Even when you don’t have time to hit your favourite coffee shop and crank out 1000+ words that you feel proud of (I rarely do), you need a process you love that motivates you to keep going The Flow State Writer Challenge is a 7 day challenge that walks you through the steps to build momentum in your writing journey by establishing a writing process you truly look forward to. Link is in my bio to join whenever you’re ready 🫶🏼

The Writing Journey - learning to unlearn Bringing 205Z to life was full of incredible lessons. This was a learning that really stood out to me, because it illuminated my bias and my perception of that experience in a confronting way. It shifted my perspective. I am so grateful for beta readers, editors, and readers that have the courage to be honest, especially as your developing work you want to be impactful. Do you have any insights or learnings from your creative journey? Are you writing or creating characters that are neurodivergent or have disabilities? #scifinovel #scifibooks #writingtips #scifigeek #creativecoaching #writingjourney #bookpublishing

You might be someone who loves solitude. And you do a lot of beautiful creative work when you’re alone. But if you’re honest with yourself, are you tired of always doing it alone? What would it feel like to find a mentor or a community who understood your vision and believed in you to accomplish it? What if getting aligned feedback is the missing piece to get you to the next level of your writing journey? I know the value of solitude. And I also know that we’re wired for connection to others. If you’ve been looking for a kind, supportive space to grow, follow this page and join the waitlist in my bio. Beautiful things are coming, and I’d love to invite you in.
Overnight success is really just everyone else seeing your years of consistency. You count out-talent grit. Often in my writing journey, I knew I’d succeed; if only by the fact that I’m the last one standing. And when you’ve made it into the top 10%, you’re only 50% done. The top 1% operate at a whole different level. But it’s a good thing we don’t give up. I’m in your corner. Let’s go!👊🏽 #motivation #writingtips #authorlife #indiefilmmaking

My favorite writing advice that I recieved at the beginning of my writing journey from my friend JW Elliot! I should clarify that you don't NEED all 5 in every scene, but you should try to fit as many as you can! Have you recieved this advice before? Do you follow it?
