Rockstar Just Announced GTA IV Grand Theft Auto IV has just been announced, and it looks like the series is finally moving into a new generation. Developed by Rockstar North, GTA IV is coming to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in October 2007, with Xbox 360 also getting exclusive episodic content through Xbox Live. Other than that, we don't really know much about the game yet... so I guess we'll have to wait and see what comes next. #GTAIV #GTAVI #GrandTheftAuto #RockstarGames #Rockstar #GTA #Gaming #GamingHistory #RetroGaming #GTA4

Does Xbox 360 still connect to Xbox live
#xbox360 #xbox #nostalgia #xbox360games #reels

Modern Warfare 2 turns 17 this year. For so many of us, MW2 wasn’t just a game. Rushing home from school, jumping into an Xbox Live party with the boys and playing multiplayer until stupid o’clock. Search & Destroy, 1v1s, going for nukes, and hearing “one more game” about 10 times before anyone actually got off. 😂 We genuinely thought those nights would last forever. We didn’t realise there would eventually be a last game, a last full party, or a last time some of those names on our friends list would ever come online. Here’s to the ones we lost along the way, the friendships that faded, and the ones who are still here and remember those days like they were yesterday. 🕊️ 17 years later… and I’d give anything for one more night with the whole squad online. #callofduty #mw2 #gaming #nostalgia

Microsoft entered the Xbox One generation believing the future of Xbox wasn’t just gaming—it was controlling the entire living room. The infamous 2013 reveal emphasized TV, sports, Call of Duty, Kinect, live television, voice controls, and entertainment, a massive shift from the gaming-first identity built during the Xbox 360, Halo, Gears of War, and Xbox Live era. Then came the bigger controversies: always-online DRM, restrictions surrounding used games, mandatory Kinect, and a $499 launch price. Gamers revolted, Sony PlayStation capitalized with the PS4, and Microsoft was forced to reverse major policies before the Xbox One even launched. The damage to Xbox’s momentum, however, had already been done. The Xbox One era remains one of gaming’s biggest lessons in Microsoft history, console marketing, brand strategy, consumer trust, Xbox vs. PlayStation, and the console wars—and a reminder of how quickly a dominant gaming brand can lose its audience. #Xbox #XboxOne #gaming #Microsoft #PlayStation PS4 PlayStation games COD

If there is one piece of advice I can give you it’s spend as little time in the barracks as possible. When you get off, PT, go hang out with friends go to a coffee shop and read, go bowling, go fishing, go running, go see a movie, go be with people and if all else fails play some Xbox live. Trust me, while you live in the barracks try to only be there if you’re playing video games or sleeping and if at all possible spend time around friends. The experience is ultimately what you make of it so be a person of action and take control of your lives, you’ll be glad you did. Via: michaelluvsyouu on TT

📈 Além do forte marketing, o próprio design do console abraçou totalmente a ideia do "360". 🟢🎮 #jogos #xbox360 #microsoft #games #xbox

An Xbox 360 avatar in a red varsity jacket spins a Black Ops 2 Mystery Box priced at 240 Microsoft Points as the dashboard shows the game’s gray menu art. Next comes the Monkey Bomb prop and a 400-point Mercenaries outfit as the avatar dances through the Store. Black Ops II launched November 13, 2012 and filled the old Xbox Live store with Zombies props for dashboard avatars. Those Microsoft Points purchases disappeared when the 360 Marketplace shut down in 2024, making the clip feel like a lost living-room ritual.
