Today I had an opportunity to drive out to @tweedhutmusic in Vacaville to try out the new Iron Label Xiphos. Gotta say (at least with this one) that the quality on these are quite good. I am very speculative about Indonesian guitars as I have not had a good track record with them and was expecting this one to be no different. Was more than happy to see that the QC on this one was quote superb. No scratches, tool markings. No fret sprout, frets are polished and the fretboard is nice and dark! Electronics worked great and the Dactivators are definitely an EMG sounding pickup. Would liks to thank Tweed Hut for their hospitality and excellent customer service while I got to rip on this axe 🪓 🎥 : @sinistermetalguitars @officialibanezguitars @dimarzioinc @dan140683 . . . . . #metal #metalguitars #pointyguitars #sharpguitars #extremeguitars #thrashmetal #deathmetal #guitars #guitarsdaily #guitarporn #guitarpost #guitarsofinstagram #guitar #metalguitar #sinistermetalguitars #heavymetalguitar #deathmetalguitars #oibanez #necrophagist #ibanez #ibanezguitars #ibanezxiphos #dimarzio #dimarziopickups #xiphos

Fast, Choppy Riffs from “Putrid Vomitorium” | BDM Guitar Few things are more satisfying than fast, choppy, syncopated brutal death metal riffs. In this video, I break down two riff sections from “Putrid Vomitorium”, showcasing how to deliver that relentless, full-violence sound. These sections use various techniques like 16th note bursts at 280BPM+, alternate picking, pinch harmonics, slides, trills, tapping, and tight, sudden chord shifts. The key to pulling this off? Minimizing movement while maintaining enough pick attack to slice through the mix without burning out. DM for tabs or lesson inquiries Tuning: G# standard Gear used: Ibanez Xiphos 7, EMG pick-ups Nameless X by Neural DSP #BrutalDeathMetal #PutridVomitorium #BDMGuitar #ChoppyRiffs #SyncopatedRiffs #DeathMetalGuitar #FullViolence #ExtremeMetal #GuitarTechnique #TremPicking #TechDeath #SpeedRiffing #HeavyGuitarRiffs #MetalGuitar #GuitarChops #iniquitousmonolith #neuraldsp #namelessx #xiphos

Look. @cathal.minogue may have trained for 12 weeks and run a marathon but I practised for eight hours and now I can (barely) play 4 bars of @scottielepage’s part of Ego Death by @polyphia on one of my @officialibanezguitars Xiphos so, in a way, we are the same. Do I get a medal? #polyphia #scottielepage #guitar #ibanez #xiphos

Often to hear how well a pickup can articulate throw heavy distortion, I plug it into my @peaveyelectronics modded 6534+ as it pushes a lot of fiery gain!!!! This Angmar by @corriganpickups loaded into my @officialibanezguitars 27 fret Xiphos tuned on C# Standard still cuts through with the low end chugs, clarity in the high end and articulate through the storm of death metal tones I throw at it so far.
