“30 gün boyunca yeni hobiler deniyorum” serimde 30. Gündeyiz… Paylaştığım birbirinden farklı hobilerin sonuncusu Zentangle ✏️
Bazen kafayı susturmanın en güzel yolu, elini meşgul etmek. 🖊️
Bir çeşit “ben şu an hiçbir şeyi çözmüyorum, sadece çiziyorum” molası.

Day thirty nine, and today's pattern is Nzeppel - an official Zentangle HQ pattern and one of my absolute favourites for filling a space.
Nzeppel starts with a crazy lined grid - lots of crosses and intersections - and then you restate those lines but curve the corners, creating shapes that look as though they've been squashed into the gaps between the intersecting lines. Think of pressing a piece of plasticine into a small space and you've got exactly the right idea.
At that stage it can still look a bit busy and hard to read, but then the shading kicks in. Shading the same side of each rounded shape consistently creates this beautiful sense of roundness and depth, and suddenly the whole thing comes to life.
