At the Academy our vast collections provide scientists all over the world with information they need for their research across many disciplines. 🐚 From the article: “Collections are not storage; they are a living resource,” said Paul Callomon, the Academy of Natural Science malacology collections manager. He views the 21 million items in the academy’s collection as an active resource to scientists all over the world. UMM today was a super-cool unexpected adventure day! 🐚 I had a project delay, so I went to check out the Sanibel Shell Show & Festival instead It was a really cool event and afterwards I went to the @shellmuseum and then went to the ultimate shell show; The Beach! I found over 50 live banded tulips and 11 huge living horse conchs! It was truly magical. ✨ Do you like videos like this? Should I make more of my adventures? 🤔 Lmk! #akat #sanibelisland #floridalife #adventure #seashells
