Eid Mubarak! Grateful to have joined fellow Surrey and Delta MLAs in hosting a wonderful Eid celebration that truly reflected the spirit of community, unity, and togetherness. It was incredible to see such a strong turnout, with families and friends coming together to celebrate, share joy, and strengthen the bonds that make our communities so vibrant and inclusive. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event such a success. Your energy and participation are what make events like this so meaningful. It was wonderful to join the community at the Ramadan Fest in Surrey alongside my BC NDP colleagues, Amna Shah and Garry Beg. 🌙 Ramadan is a time of reflection, compassion, and community. Events like this bring people together and remind us of the strength that comes from celebrating our diversity and supporting one another. Thank you to the organizers and volunteers who made this beautiful gathering possible, and to everyone who came out to share in the spirit of Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak to all who are observing.

Honoured to attend the Annual Iftar at Mubarak Mosque with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at Brampton. 🌙 It was powerful to see elected officials from across Ontario, residents, and community leaders gathered in one room united in reflection, service, and shared values. Ramadan reminds us of discipline, compassion, and community. In a time where division can be loud, evenings like this quietly demonstrate what leadership should look like: respect, dialogue, and love for all. Greatful for the invitation and for the opportunity to stand alongside so many dedicated public servants and community builders. #Ramadan #Iftar #CommunityLeadership #Brampton #SoaringTogether
