Some paintings don’t reveal themselves right away.
I turn them… live with them… question them… until suddenly — it feels right.
Orientation can completely change balance, movement, and energy in abstract art. This is always part of my process before I ever call a piece finished.
Which direction did you prefer before it turned?
Contemporary abstract acrylic painting on canvas. Original artwork by Lori Mirabelli. Available paintings can be viewed through the link in my profile.

There’s something hypnotic about the way paint moves when guided by pure presence. Watching this large-scale blue canvas come to life under the brush of @katesalinger is a reminder that abstract expression isn’t just spontaneous, it’s a dance between control and surrender. The slow build of motion, from linear gradients to bold gestural strokes, captures the essence of contemporary fine art in real time.
Kate Salinger is quickly becoming a rising name in the world of modern abstract painting. Her process reveals a unique relationship with color psychology, fluid texture, and the physicality of creation. Every movement is intentional. Every layer adds emotional depth. In an age of digital speed, watching an artist command silence through brushwork is a rare kind of therapy.
This piece speaks to collectors who understand that fine art isn’t just a product, it’s a performance. A frequency. A feeling frozen in pigment. Whether you’re an art investor, gallerist, or simply someone drawn to large-format, minimalist-yet-bold works, this is a reminder that original art still holds unmatched power.

The making of my latest collection “Expansion of Two Natures”
I painted these pieces to celebrate and reflect on a happy 10 years(!) of marriage to my beloved. How time flies ❤️
