A T H E N S Where to stay type in “syntagma square” in google maps, zoom in to maps to find hotels nearby. What to do 1. Day trip to nearby #aeginaisland I highly recommend renting a car/scooter to explore beyond the town. 2. Grab a drink at one of the many rooftop restaurants near Mavili square area.. again use google maps to narrow down selections. 3. Day pass- grab a day pass to a local pool especially if you’re staying at an Airbnb or a smaller hotel. 4. Sightseeing - there are lots of options here depending on interest and how much time you’d like to allocate here. We choose #accropolis I suggest going an hour before closing for less crowds and bearable temps -if you’re visiting during high season. Crowds weren’t too bad in September but it was hot during the day. 5. Enjoy a night out - grab a late dinner and enjoy live music here - again go to handy dandy google maps and type in “Geros Tou Moria Restaurant” This should bring you to what we experienced as the most lively flight of stairs in Athens! Lol I was a bit underwhelmed by the food... and the service was ok- be prepared to wait b/c it’s super busy. BUT the energy and vibes here was IT!!
