Adana Kebab — Turkish-Style Lamb & Chicken Kebab Juicy, smoky and packed with flavour! Ingredients For the kebab * 1 kg lamb mince * ½ kg chicken mince * 1 onion, roughly chopped * A handful of parsley * 1 red bell pepper, chopped * 1 green chilli, chopped * 3 garlic cloves * 1 tsp coriander powder * 1 tsp sumac * ½ tsp cumin powder * 1 tsp paprika powder * ½ tsp ginger powder * Salt to taste * Butter, for brushing For the salad * 1 onion, sliced * 2 tomatoes, chopped * 1 cucumber, chopped * A handful of parsley * 1 tsp sumac * Lemon juice, to taste Method Add the onion, parsley, red bell pepper, green chilli and garlic to a blender and blend until finely combined. Transfer to a strainer and squeeze out the excess liquid, keeping only the blended mixture. Add the mixture to the lamb and chicken mince. Add coriander, sumac, cumin, paprika, ginger powder and salt. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined. Take a skewer and press the meat mixture around it, shaping it into a long kebab. Grill over charcoal or on a grill until cooked and nicely charred. If using an oven, place the kebabs on a baking tray and cook at 180°C, turning halfway through. Brush with a little butter while cooking. For the salad, combine the sliced onion, tomatoes, cucumber and parsley. Add sumac and a drizzle of lemon juice, then mix well. Serve the kebabs over warm naan with the fresh salad, extra lemon and enjoy! #adanakebap #turkishfood🇹🇷 #explore #foryou #kebab
