I didn’t 😮‍💨🔥 I found the hottest chicken wings in Adelaide and pulled up to @5thquarter_au inside @colonnadestavern with one goal, beat their 30min Hot Wing Challenge!!! 5 x flavours. 6 full wings per plate. Only ONE drink allowed 🥤 It started friendly with the BBQ wings, honestly hectic flavour. Korean brought the heat up a notch. Buffalo was light work... Then it turned ugly. Extreme sauce let me know this wasn’t a joke. But the final plate… the Stupid wings. Carolina Reaper and cayenne powder that hits you like a freight train. From the first bite it hurt, heat compounding fast, no relief in sight. Now I see why 53 people tapped out. Left my Coke Zero till the end, dug deep, and got it done 💪 Challenge completed in 13 minutes 34 seconds. Adelaide, these wings are not for the faint-hearted. Adelaide, Molly Tea is finally here 🍵✨@mollytea_australia Tried the Premium Jasmine Matcha and Snowy Peach Oolong Milk Tea today. The tea was incredibly fragrant and smooth, while the creamy topping with crunchy bits added the perfect texture. I can definitely see why people have been lining up for it in Melbourne and Sydney. Joined the queue at 4:25pm and had my drinks by 5:15pm. Honestly the wait is not too bad for grand opening. If you can’t take milk? They do have 3 oat milk tea options to pick from. Is this the biggest chunk of steak you’ve ever seen served on a plate? @germanarmshotel in Hahndorf serve up this bad boy and I was eating the left overs for about a week after. It’s Wagyu steak grown right here in SA and boy oh boy was it delicious! ADELAIDE.. are these the fluffiest, most jiggly pancakes in Adelaide? 😱😱 MOMO Soufflé Pancakes 📍Glenelg, SA Eli, the owner behind Momo. After spending 10 years working as an engineer, he took a leap of faith and opened Momo after falling in love with Japanese soufflé pancakes during a trip to Japan. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! This is genuinely the best soufflé pancakes I’ve had in Adelaide, soft, fluffy, light.. jiggly and the best part? You can truly taste the passion behind every dish! All the sauces and toppings are made in house, while the yuzu, matcha and Hochija are sourced directly from Japan and the pistachios are all the way from Sicily. I’d highly reccomend the matcha creme brûlée, although I also really enjoyed the blueberry yuzu cheesecake, and the strawberry belgian chocolate (tasted exactly like cherry ripe!!) There’s so many yummy drink options to choose from aswell, the matcha is authentic, smooth, strong but not bitter. When I come to Z Town, I don’t order one burger, I order them all 💪🍔 Pulled up to @ztownburgers, a brand new burger joint in Adelaide that already knows exactly what they’re doing on the grill. Big burgers, proper flavour, no messing around. Started light with the 5038 grilled chicken, lemon and herb sauce to warm up. Rolled straight into the Seasonal Z, double beef, double cheese, pickles, full flavour. The Honey Z was a certified weapon, fried chicken with hot honey, elite combo with sweet potato fries and a Coke Zero. Murdoch Avenue brought the heat, spicy fried chicken balanced perfectly with slaw. Then the Big Fella landed with double patties, cheese, onion, salad, a serious mouthful. Left the monsters till last. The Jeff was loaded with beef patty, wagyu steak, house made honey BBQ. Last burger was the Nagle Street, spicy fried chicken smashed out so I could finish strong on the ZTown Cheesesteak. My Z Town menu smash completed in 28 minutes, 50 seconds.
