I’ve always wanted an outdoor shower, so I added a couple of skylights to the main bath and boom! #bathroomluxury #bathroomremodel #bathroomstyling #bathroominteriors #bathroominspo #bathroomtransformation #bathroomdesign #myfavoritecornerinthehouse #thatroomiseverything #bathroomdecor #bathroomgoals #mainbathroom #homespa #allsortsof

There are so many beautiful paint colors out there. It can feel overwhelming with the number of choices and considerations…is this color timeless or trending, and does it feel cohesive throughout the home? How the light hits the color, which sheen to use, how the color makes the room feel, and how it will coordinate with the rest of the colors in the home are all things to think about. We loved how a color used solely on trim in one room and then on cabinets in another felt so different. No hardwire connection, no problem! I made these rechargeable pendant lamps for our guest bedroom using vintage shades from a thrift store and rechargeable bulbs. Here’s how I did it: 1. Find a shade you love - I found mine at a thrift store with 3” fittings that were perfect for this project. 2. Glue in the magnetic bulb base plate to the base of the shade. 3. Thread the wire through the brass fitter and secure it with a knot. 4. Repeat the process with the ceiling brass canopy. 5. Screw the lamp directly to the ceiling. 6. Connect your shade and voila! Now we have beautiful pendant lamps that add a cozy ambiance to our guest room. “It won’t last forever.” These words are both bittersweet and encouraging for different reasons to me right now. I am really gonna miss this home. As head into the demo process of our new home I need to remember it always gets worse before it gets better, but it won’t last forever. #beforeandafter #diy #diyreels #diyrenovation #bhghome #bhgididit #allsortsof #crappyiphonepicsaremyjam #ambularinteriorsaintgotnothingonme
