For #memademay2024 I’m trying to show my handknits some love and find new ways of wearing them. Today I wore my dress adaptation of the #alpinebloomtee by @boylandknitworks, which I consider to be my very favorite thing I have ever made. Even though I made it last fall as a winter party dress, it very much matched my mood on this glorious spring day. P.S. I just realized I keep using the same Belle and Sebastian song in all my recent reels— I had the privilege to see @bellesglasgow live over the weekend and I can’t get them off my mind! . This was my first time working with Spincycle and I think it was a win, this is already the second time I’ve worn it since pulling it off the blocking boards on Saturday. I am obsessed. 😍 This is my wear everywhere spring tee. It’s the #alpinebloomtee by @boylandknitworks. It’s knit in @sonderyarnco #fleeceandflax yarn in the colourway Flat White which is a gorgeous warm creamy neutral. The yoke is knit in @spincycle_yarns Dyed in the Wool in the colourway Dirty Little Secret. I knit this tee on size 3 needles and ended up with a 23 stitch gauge after blocking. It’s so cool and comfortable - just easy breezy to wear. I’m already knitting another summer tee in fleece and flax. 😊
