This incredible video of Chase and Cash Harris hit me right in the heart. My son, @andrewsanez , was also born with spina bifida and had his spinal cord surgery at just one month old.
Back then, Googling his diagnosis felt like a gut-punch. We saw all the potential limitations, and it was terrifying. But like Chase, I knew one thing for certain: I was going to be there, no matter what!
By the grace of God, today Andrew is a normal, thriving 17-year-old. He’s wrestling his LAST YEAR of high school, competing with heart, strength, and determination!
To Cash and Chase: Thank you for sharing your journey. Your little boy's fight and your commitment are a powerful reminder of what love and resilience look like.
To my five boys and one daughter: You are my greatest blessings, and the fuel that drives me every single day.
