Sometimes a little mini getaway is all you need to break up the school holidays, get out of the usual routine and feel like you’ve actually had a break. 4 days in Anglesea 🌊 A few things we loved + little tips if you’re planning a family trip there too. 🏡 We stayed at @greatoceanroadresort and were VERY lucky to get upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment. So much space, close to everything, plus a heated pool, tennis court and trampoline area for the kids. 🌊 Anglesea Beach is beautiful, but we also loved the little sheltered beach near the Anglesea Motor Yacht Club. Cute kiosk too. ☕ The General Store became a regular 😂 Great coffee, snacks, easy lunch and lots of little things for the kids. @maidsgeneralstoreanglesea 🍽️ Lovehouse at the Surf Life Saving Club was SO delish. Beautiful views and really easy with kids. @lovehousedining 🚤 The kids loved boating on the Anglesea River. 💡 We drove to Aireys Inlet to see Split Point Lighthouse. If you watched Round the Twist as a kid… you know the one 😂 🦘The kids lived spotting all the kangaroos at the golf course. I’ve never seen so many in one place. 🌿 We also popped into Lorne for lunch and a play. My biggest tip: don’t plan too much. We left plenty of time for the pool, beach, coffee runs and doing not much at all and I think that’s why it actually felt like a holiday. SAVE for later 💛 And send me your Anglesea tips because we’ll definitely be back.

Ryan brought Eoin on a tour of the RDS where the timber for our new collection spent the last century. We've been a bit absent in Instagram lately but its because we've been housesitting and settling i to a routine here in Australia 🇦🇺 But we've left the housesit in Anglesea where we've been staying since the end of August and we're now in Melbourne for a week before we head to Queensland 🌞 So I'm going to try my best to actually post here and share what we're doing in our last few weeks in Australia Queens Victoria market was a blast 😎
