Щетками в белых рубашках над скелетами тоже работаем, но большую часть мы просто копаем, переносим землю с места на место, просто метем землю, фотографируем землю и пишем умные слова в блокнотики об этой земле

Day 9 with Djed Travel - Excursion to the temples of Dendera and Abydos!
In awe, I raise my head. The ceiling of the temple could have been painted yesterday, despite the fact that it is 2,000 years old. Shades of blue burst forth from its surface. Gods sail in boats among the stars, or stand in adoration of human-headed birds. The moon and its phases are represented by a wedjat-eye carved within a disc. The entire scene is a complex astronomical scene, a detailed compilation of Egyptian knowledge of the day and night sky. And it's absolutely stunning!
This extraordinary Mycenaean gold necklace, dating to roughly 1500–1300 BC, was discovered in the monumental tholos tomb at Dendra, near the citadel of Midea.
It is made from 36 individually fashioned gold rosettes, arranged into a long floral necklace. When the burial was excavated, the ornaments were found positioned around the young deceased, alongside other exceptionally rich grave goods.
The excavator nicknamed her the “Little Princess” because of the wealth of her burial, although we cannot know whether she literally held that title. What is clear is that she belonged to the highest levels of Mycenaean society.

Kailasa Temple: carved from a mountain. Evidence of advanced tech? Pickaxes barely scratch it.
100 men for 2 years, barely a scratch. How was it built? It makes you go 'Hmm'.
