📍Armona Island is one of 5 islands located in the Ria Formosa, in the Algarve, Portugal. It is located between Ilha da Culatra and Ilha de Tavira, near the town of Olhão. On Ilha da Armona there are no cars, no roads, no hotels and it is mainly a holiday resort and most of the houses are for rent in the summer. There is also an Orbitur camping site and a few mini-markets, cafes and restaurants.
Apart from this inhabited part, situated at the western end, the rest of the island is wild and the beauty of the beaches will make you think you have found paradise in the Algarve. 🏝️🐚🩳🩱
