From newly consigned artists Chow and Lin to Gutai and Mono-ha touchstones, Southeast Asian voices, and character driven worlds, the booth brings together a wide spectrum of practices shaped by curiosity, craft, and contrast. Look out for Miki Katoh whose work bridges centuries of Japanese visual culture with a contemporary sensibility, vibrant works by Clasutta through animal characters and playful scenarios, on how we cope with mistakes, social pressure, and small human contradictions and the unmistakable presence of Miwa Komatsu up close. And that’s a wrap for @ArtSG! There were a lot of questions about how this piece was done. This is how! We mixed 60 different shades of red car paint with sand and built a device that was dragged across 9 meters. Finally, we installed a steel band of the Porsche 911 *992.2* silhouette onto the artwork. Let me know if you have any questions! Happy to answer! A HUGE thanks to my team: @esmondsit @gnuhceehc @shhhirrr who tirelessly worked on this piece with me for many weeks - they deserve so much credit for making this vision come to live (and @unicornssmellfunny for experimenting with us in the early weeks!). Also a huge shoutout @kernwei for shooting and editing this reel - dude just casually walked into the studio for a day or two and spat out this mad reel! And to @porsche.sg @porsche - thank you for trusting me with this project! Soooo… when are we going for a spin? 🤪

Organised by vintage tee and music enthusiasts @kentansg and @sonictitan.vtg, @woawgallery plays host to one of the first ever band tee exhibitions in Singapore. I often tell my clients: take your time to curate a space that is uniquely yours. Even as a design director, I’m not an “art expert,” and I’ll admit I was cautious about finding the right piece for my own dining room. I wanted it to be perfect. If you’re currently on the hunt for that “soul piece” for your home, here is the exact process I used: 1. The Long Game: Spend months (or years!) visiting galleries and exhibitions to see what actually moves you. 2. The Logistics: Set a firm budget and determine the scale/size needed for the wall. 3. The Vibe Check: Decide how the space should feel. Formal? Lively? Moody? 4. The Partner: Find a trusted gallery you feel comfortable with. 5. The Selection: Narrow it down to the piece that speaks to you. 6. The Cheat Code: 3D render it into the room (perks of owning a design studio! 😉). 7. Welcoming Spring with @lumine.sg through a peaceful art workshop where we transformed leftover Japanese washi paper into beautiful woven sculptures with @alicia.kirwan of @beeyarnd 🌸🧶⛓️🔖 Spring has a way of reminding us that after every harsh winter, there’s always a new season of growth and beauty. As I got into the flow of weaving yarn and bringing washi paper back to life, I’m reminded that there’s beauty in every season.
