COMPLEXITY : Not a tourbillon. Its evolution. Conceived within a fully non-parallel architecture, ArtyA Complexity redefines chronometric precision across all spatial positions extending the principle first imagined by Abraham-Louis Breguet into a new multi-axis dimension. Two inclined tourbillons with a differential, housed in a sapphire case. A world first. Signed ArtyA. Presented for the first time at Watches & Wonders 2026, the Complexity is ArtyA's centrepiece for this edition. In watchmaking, certain feats transcend mere complication. The inclined tourbillon, or Cônillon, is one such achievement: in this rare variant, the balance wheel's axis does not trace a cylindrical path as in the Breguet tradition, but a conical trajectory, compensating for the effects of gravity according to a radically different geometry. Set within a sapphire case, the Complexity introduces what ArtyA describes as a world-first double Cônillon 12H / 6H with differential, placing two inclined tourbillons at 12 and 6 o’clock in a dramatic architecture of technical ambition and visual depth. Unlike a conventional tourbillon, each inclined regulator follows a conical path, designed to compensate for gravity across multiple vertical positions at once. The two systems are coupled by a differential, distributing energy evenly between them while creating a striking mechanical spectacle on the dial.
