Sweet and savory always 🫶 Finally visited @bounom_bakery after hearing so many good things about it (@pastathedogctblog is a fan!) The scallion roll was unexpected and delicious, I recommend getting it warmed up. Cinnamon buns always catch my attention and this bun was fluffy with a generous amount of frosting, not too sweet. We haven’t been out exploring the best restaurants for a while because our move has taken up our energy for the last year, BUT I have to give a shout out to @theelephanttrail for being a great week night option for our family! This was not what I expected...just wait for part 2 👀🍫🍌 Part 1 of my chocolate series at Chokaico in Avon, Connecticut starts with owner Fernando showing me one of their case favorites: a chocolate-covered banana made with dark chocolate. Somehow it tasted just like banana bread to me, and I was totally sold. Even cooler, Chokaico is a bean-to-chocolate shop, so they’re making the chocolate right there from the cacao bean.
