In this video I talk through the Bach flower remedies I often recommend for flight anxiety, and how they gently support the emotional patterns behind the fear. As a Bach flower practitioner and founder of Mindful Remedies, I work with many people who feel completely capable in everyday life - yet overwhelmed at the thought of getting on a plane. The fear can show up in different ways, and the right remedies depend on what’s happening emotionally for you. In this video I cover: ✈️ Mimulus For known fears - turbulence, take-off, heights, lack of control. ✈️ Rock Rose For acute panic or terror - when fear feels intense or paralysing. ✈️ White Chestnut For looping thoughts and constant mental replay of “what if” scenarios. ✈️ Star of Bethlehem For past traumatic flight experiences or shock stored in the system. Bach flower remedies don’t sedate or suppress - they work on the emotional level, helping you feel calmer, steadier and more in control. If you’d like more tailored support, you can create your own personalised blend through Mindful Remedies, combining up to 7 remedies in one bottle to suit your specific fears and emotional triggers. When I first discovered the Bach flower essences I didn’t realise that the bottles id bought from the shops were designed to be diluted and mixed with other essences. So I must have been taking them undiluted for a while before I invested in some mixer bottles (@hsconline do good ones) When it’s the emotions clearly playing a huge part in our physical symptom picture (as they so often are in our house - I don’t know about yours?) - I’ve found these essences to be true gems. I’ve collected the whole set of Bach essences now. There’s some I’ve never used to be honest - but my favourites are indispensable. Do you love flower essences too and do you use more than a handful of them from your collection? My top 5: * Elm * Walnut * White chestnut * Red Chestnut * Cherry plum Oh but then there’s pine, oak, star of B, willow and clematis, chicory, ooo centuary, aspen… too too many, they’re so good these remedies 💚 I’ve nearly finished my doodled first aid remedies series now - maybe I’ll doodle my fav Bach essences with their key features if anyone’s as interested as me in exploring these a bit more? Warmest wishes Alex 💜

Back to School Tip TWO Bach Flower Essences are a beautiful way to care for your family using unique flower essences which are indicated for certain emotional states throughout your families life. You can buy them from Holland and Barrett and online. I used a 30ml dropper bottle and filled with filtered water, which I kept in the fridge until the remedy bottle was empty (or no longer needed). Usually approximately 2-3 weeks. I advice taking four doses a day (approx 4-6 drops) from your prepared bottle in the Friday. You can add 6 drops of this bottle into your child’s water bottle and get them to give it a little shake every time they have a drink. You can even put some I their bath or on their feet. I would look at the wonderful selection of Bach Flower Essence books online and find one that resonates with you. The ones I mentioned were Growing up with Bach Flower Remedies by Judy Howard and Bach Flower Remedies to the Rescue, Gregory Vlamis I use the following: I always start with Bach Flower Rescue Remedy as my base of the remedy I am creating and then The Bach Flower remedies I discussed : MIMULUS - for KNOWN fears such as the Dentist, a new teacher etc. VINE - not receptive to being ASPEN - unknown fears, I don’t know why I am scared STAR OF BETHLEHEM - for trauma and sadness and shock and grief, it helps give support #ilovehomeopathy#homeopathyworks#homeopathyheals#alternativehealing#anotherwayofhealing#energymedicine#tryhomeopathy#crunchymums #crunchy #kinnisiology #nontoxicmedication#westkirby #wirral #chester #liverpool #zoomconsults #justaclickaway #energymedicine #homeopathyrocks #homeopathyrocks #alternativehealing #safegentlehealing #tryhomeopathy #backtoschool #bachflowerremedies #bachflowers #bachflowerremedy

Your body speaks what the mind tries to silence. the symptom is not the enemy it’s the signal. 🌀 the bloating 🌀 the breakouts 🌀 the mood swings 🌀 the fatigue they’re not just physical. they’re your body whispering what your soul has been carrying. when we ignore our emotions, our body has to hold them. when we suppress the pain, it finds another way out. 🌿 bach flower remedies gently help release what’s stuck: the fear you’ve buried. the anger you’ve swallowed. the control that’s exhausting you. this is what true healing is not just fixing the body, but listening to it. not just managing symptoms, but understanding the story underneath. ✨ your body isn’t betraying you. it’s trying to bring you back to yourself. Healing from past trauma is hard. To be honest…I found ways to cope that truly were just a cover…and not really doing the hard work. Hence, years of crippling anxiety and depression. Working too much Avoiding my emotions Medicating Pretending I am fine People please and ALWAYS putting others first while neglecting my own needs So many of us who have experienced trauma in the past find ways to cope. I am done coping. And for the last couple of years I have really been digging deep into healing. There are so many beautiful practices that can be explored! For starters, recognizing and being aware of your emotions (and where they come from) is HUGE! I started a journal and when negative thoughts come up about a situation or a person, I sit with it. Explore where it comes from and make a connection to my past. Discovering why we feel a certain way and what it is connected to is a huge start. Other ways that have been helping me and may help you too include: -Spend time in your Bible (God knows our outcome and journey long before we do. And His word reassures us of that. He is always there for us.) -Homeopathic and Bach Flower remedies -Psych-K® balances and energy clearing -Cell Salts and mineralizing -Herbal tea infusions - Continuing to take high quality gut health supplements Don’t give up hope. Healing is a journey…and you can take small steps each day to help you along the way! What practices do you do that help you to heal your past traumas?
