My spring babies are all grown up🥹🐣 Australian Spotted Ducks are a critically endangered bantam breed of duck. I got mine from @metzerfarms and I absolutely adore them! They fit in very well with my call ducks and spend most of their day swimming in my pond. They are very similar in size to my call ducks, but some are just a tad bit larger. I know everyone’s been missing the bedtime videos. As you’ve seen, I’ve been setting aside more time to take care of my own health. I never expected my journey to be so successful. I also never expected to devote any time to myself this way since my focus is always on my kids & animals. But my health journey has kept me from being able to post as much. The ducks bedtime ritual has become such a popular part of our evening IG stories that I thought I’d post them for anyone who might need an extra reason to smile today 😊 Yes, they put themselves to bed every night & no, I never get tired of watching them waddle into the house & run to their room. They’re the cutest! Mooney update: If you’ve been following our stories you’re aware Mooney had surgery last Wednesday. She was struggling in the days after her procedure & I was very worried. But after speaking to the vet & requesting she be placed on anti-anxiety meds (which the vet wholeheartedly agreed with) Mooney is back to her old, energetic self 😃 She won’t be permitted to join Jelly & Topc outside for another week or two until she’s fully recovered. But things are looking up!
