Passover Chocolate Torte The perfect Passover dessert. This recipe is based on a recipe that was included in my children’s school Passover cookbook, approximately 30 years ago. I have tweaked it here and there, the main thing is that it is decadent and delicious for any and all chocolate lovers. The original recipe is at the end of the above video, just take a screenshot of it :) Glaze: In a small saucepan and over low heat, combine 3 oz. semi sweet chocolate with 1 1/2 tablespoons coffee and 3 tablespoons of plant based butter ( to keep the recipe non-dairy) stir continuously until it is completely smooth, then remove from heat. Allow to cool for about three minutes and then go ahead and spread it evenly over the cold chocolate torte. Garnish with sliced almonds. #passover #kosher #chocolatetorte #chocolatecake #passoverdessert

Flourless Chocolate Cake – Half Recipe Save it for Passover — it’s so delicate, the perfect way to end a meal. Light, fluffy, and filled with beautiful, deep chocolate flavors. I worked at my sister’s place this week and I had to film this one. Thank you, @petrachavez9083 , for this wonderful week I had with you in my sister’s bakery. You are truly a special person, and she is so lucky to have you. My words feel light compared to how grateful I really am. Thank you for letting me film so much, and for letting me stop you in the middle of everything you were doing — for pictures, more pictures, and little stories🫣🤭😂. I will always remember. My sister @severinechriki , you are my oldest sister, and I am so grateful to have someone like you to look up to. You made this place so magical. Everything is so well organized, so thoughtful, and so detailed. I still can’t believe how far you have come. Enjoy the recipe. It’s an amazing one. ✨This is one of the best chocolate cakes I’ve ever had and somehow it’s kosher for passover, nut free and gluten free (aka not gebrochts). It tastes like a brownie but in cake form - not sure that makes sense but trust me! Don’t forget to save it! ✨ Details ⬇️ Triple Chocolate Brownie Cake (nut free, Passover) @erin.eats.mtl Ingredients: 2 cups chocolate chips, melted (I like to microwave in 30 second intervals and then stir) 1.5 cups sugar 1 cup oil 4 large eggs 2 egg yolks 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup cocoa powder 1 tsp instant coffee grinds (don’t worry, the cake doesn’t taste like coffee at all - this just deepens the flavor) 1 tbsp passover baking powder 1 box instant chocolate pudding powder (I used osem brand) 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup hot water Directions: Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk together melted chocolate, sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Combine cocoa, coffee, baking powder, pudding powder and salt. Fold into melted chocolate mixture. Gently fold in hot water. Grease a bundt pan and coat with a thin layer of cocoa powder. Pour cake batter into pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes. I can’t wait for you to enjoy this insanely delicious cake!! Cooking time will vary in a foil pan - I have not tested it! #passoverrecipes #pesach #glutenfreedessert #chocolatecakes

Let’s play with some balls! These cake balls (aka cake truffles) are like cake pops without a stick. You can make them with Passover brownie cake mix like I did (for a deeper chocolate taste) or traditional Passover cake mix (for a lighter, more classic cake pop taste), but the key is getting the texture just right so they roll easily and stay fudgy inside. Passover Cake Truffles: 1 box of @matzoproject Passover brownie cake mix (for a deeper chocolate taste) or Passover cake mix (for a lighter taste), plus ingredients listed on the box About 1/2 to 1 cup chocolate chips 1 to 2 teaspoons oil 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional, but recommended for a softer texture) For dipping or rolling: About 1 to 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips 1 to 2 teaspoons oil Toppings of choice: sprinkles, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, mini chocolate chips, cocoa powder, a sprinkle of sea salt, etc. Directions: Bake the mix according to the package directions and let cool completely. Crumble the cake into very fine crumbs in a large bowl. Melt the chocolate chips with 1 to 2 teaspoons oil until smooth. Add about 1/2 cup of the melted chocolate to the crumbs along with the maple syrup and mix well. Continue adding more melted chocolate a little at a time until the mixture looks crumbly in the bowl but squishes together smoothly in your hand and holds its shape without falling apart. Depending on the brand of Passover mix, you may need up to 1 cup melted chocolate. Once the mixture holds together, mix in the mini chocolate chips if using. Roll into 1-tablespoon-size balls and place on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for 25 to 30 minutes, until firm. For dipping: Melt 1 to 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips with 1 to 2 teaspoons oil. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate, let the excess drip off, then roll in additional toppings if desired, then place back on the parchment to set. Refrigerate to set. #cakepops #passoverdessert #balls
