When the string doesn't hold up to the intensity of the piece 😂 At least it was in the very end 🤦♂️There is a 1st time for everything, I guess 🤷♂️

Wednesday afternoon Ysaye practice. Started looking at this piece again the last days after not having played it since I’m 16 (so looong time ago 😊)
Love practicing this beginning and Ysaye’s music in general. And also love this violin 🎻🥰

🎹 The storm passes, the soul soars. The final movement of Chopin’s Third sonata—dark yet noble, relentless and, ultimately, radiant. When I was eight I loved this movement because it reminded me of the ghost train ride in my local amusement park in Southend-on-sea! Obviously now I have different associations 🤣 but it still excites me in the same way!
New music video now up, link in bio.
