We finally made our way to @j1beachdubai to check out @baoli.dubai as the sun set, just before the summer temps start sneaking up. There’s a pool for those who want a beach club day, but we think Bâoli’s strength is probably late in the evening when we’re told it’s quite a vibe (naturally, we were on the way home by then 🤣). The cuisine is French Mediterranean meets Japanese, with plenty of seafood and caviar on offer and the uber personable @chefomarbasiony has done a great job on crafting a menu that caters perfectly to Dubai tastes. Our fave? The excellent vege tempura, avocado + baby spinach salad and Wagyu sushi. Expect prices in line with a trendy imported restaurant in Dubai’s newest beachside dining district 😅.
