Some of my athletes have recently started working on more focused hurdle drills and training. The steeplechase is an incredible event 🐎 You’ve got to be tough as nails and is a sport in itself. 👊🏾 I have so much respect for the athletes who run it at any level. My athletes are already and will in the future run distances with a wide range. Some are too young for the steeple and others like Aki might not be suitable for the steeple. But the drills work on so many levels and if you’re an athlete, it will help you to develop your training components in a more wholesome manner. I have chosen to put some parts of the videos where you can see that each of them are making some errors. I’m talking them through basics, attack and how to run run tall and they will only get better when they work on it. The hurdle drill with a switch is a tricky one if you are not used to it, specially as you also have to try and get the straight leg v trail leg right in rhythm and position. I made the hurdle barriers a bit lower than standard because this is their initial phase and once they work more on their technique, strength and gain confidence, it’ll be smoother. All in all, my athletes had an awesome session and in their words, “ बहुत मज़ा आया।” 🙂 #Steeplechase #Barriers #Hurdles #LoveTraining #TrainHard #3000m #Activation #reels #TrainingIsFun #Strength #Tough #feelitreelit

Breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes! Women leader, women entrepreneur, women founder  A title tag that comes with extra responsibilities and pressure of proving ourselves. Co-founding a gaming company with my husband was one of the best decisions I took. Our partnership as co-founders has proven to be as amazing as in the relationship of marriage. Being a cricketer’s wife did not make anything easier for me, it was evident that I had to make space for myself. Thanks to @marketingmind.in to have put this chat in a beautiful way. #women #entrepreneur #tech #challenges #stereotypes #barriers

Platform barriers have been installed by the MTA at the No. 1 subway station located at 191st Street this weekend. Being the first station of four, the agency is breaking into the new barriers as part of a pilot program aimed at enhancing subway safety by preventing more trouble on the tracks. I am wrestling with thoughts in my head always about my size and how much space I’m taking up…. And then I go out and I bust through limitations and barriers that I let my head set for myself… and I’m starting to realize what this whole life thing is actually about. Running is showing me that. #weightloss #headspace #mindset #running #change #barriers #breakthrough #run #life

Well folks you braved the storm and my heart is full this morning. What a night at a packed @thetungauditorium to bring the Barriers tour to a close. @amychalmersmusic thank you isn’t enough really for the work you have put into arranging my songs so beautifully -so much more to say on this and videos to share. And to the fantastic string section Helen Measures, Sarah Hill & Evelyn Halls. Of course Thank you @_anna_corcoran_ Danny Williams - loads more to say about them too. The standing ovation at the end was enough to move us all to tears. Thank you all 🙏🏻❤️ 📸 @juliepalmer999 #barriers #americana #thetungauditorium #liverpool #livemusic #singersongwriter #strings #livestrings #newalbumtour #standingovation
